Cationic polyacrylamide is a linear polymer compound. Because it has various active groups, it can form hydrogen bonds with many substances. It is mainly flocculated with negatively charged colloid, with turbidity, decolorization, adsorption, bonding and other functions. Cationic polyacrylamide is suitable for dyeing, paper making, food, construction, metallurgy, mineral processing, coal powder, oil fields, aquatic processing and fermentation industries with high organic colloid content of wastewater treatment, especially suitable for urban sewage, urban sludge, paper sludge and other industrial sludge dewatering treatment.

Cationic polyacrylamide Features:

First, it is water-soluble and can be dissolved in cold water. Good water solubility: good water solubility, high degree of hydrolysis (ionic degree). The so-called degree of hydrolysis refers to the ability of weak ions in the polyacrylamide solution to combine with water to form weak alkalinity or weak acidity, or the ability of weak acidity and weak alkalinity in the polyacrylamide solution. For strong acids and bases, the greater the degree of ionization, the stronger the corresponding acid-base, the weaker the degree of hydrolysis. For some soluble polyacrylamides, the greater the degree of ionization, the more ionized ions, the weaker the degree of hydrolysis. Generally, the higher the degree of ionization, the weaker the degree of hydrolysis. On the contrary, the degree of hydrolysis is higher when the degree of ionization is lower.

Second, adding a small amount of cationic polyacrylamide products can obtain great flocculation effect. Generally, only 0.01~10ppm(0.01~10g/m3) can be added to play a full role.
