Do you know how to classify polyacrylamide?

Nonionic polyacrylamide is an important water-soluble polymer with special physical and chemical properties. It is widely used in various industries of national economy. According to different production processes, polyacrylamide can be divided into cationic, anionic and non-ionic polyacrylamide.

1. The method of testing polyacrylamide solution is to test the pH value of polyacrylamide solution. Different types of polyacrylamide solutions have different pH values. However, the pH values of polyacrylamide products and raw materials produced by different manufacturers are not absolute values. This method is just the most routine test.

2. Choose anionic polyacrylamide and cationic polyacrylamide products for dissolution treatment, and mix the polyacrylamide product solution to be tested with two kinds of polyacrylamide solutions. If it reacts with anionic polyacrylamide products, it indicates that polyacrylamide is a cation, and how to react with the cation proves that the polyacrylamide product is anion or non-ion.

3. If conditions permit, we can infer sewage experiments from sewage experiments. Anionic polyacrylamide is suitable for highly concentrated, positively charged inorganic suspensions, as well as coarse suspended particles at neutral or alkaline pH. Cationic polyacrylamide is suitable for negatively charged suspended solids containing organic matter. Non-ionic polyacrylamide is suitable for the separation of organic and inorganic mixtures, the solution is acidic or neutral.
